Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is super clean and cute with very comfortable beds, but it can get loud at times due to its location near the back door used by apartment tenants. The staff are excellent and very helpful, though there were instances where they were not attentive to our needs. The location is perfect for exploring the area on foot, especially being close to the Art Museum and within walking distance of many attractions. Dining in the courtyard was outstanding, especially the sausage and blueberry muffins, but it may be inconvenient for late risers as breakfast service ends at 10:30 am.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although spacious and light, were occasionally noisy due to their location near the back door used by apartment tenants. On the positive side, the rooms were ready, well-equipped, and had plenty of storage space. The service was a bit hit or miss, with some staff members not being attentive but others being incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The location was ideal for exploring the city on foot and visiting popular attractions, although the inability to open windows or curtains was a drawback. The dining options were varied, with a good selection of freshly prepared dishes, but the hotel's dining space did not offer a complete experience. Overall, a decent stay with some ups and downs.
The hotel has some drawbacks like the noisy old-fashioned pressure radiator in the rooms, the small bathroom without a fan, and the proximity to public areas. However, the staff is lovely. On the plus side, the hotel has a great location with convenient parking and easy access to attractions like the Summerfest grounds and the lakefront.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were nice and clean, and the small kitchen was handy for breakfast, but they were extremely outdated and the air in the radiators caused loud noises every two hours. The service was top-notch, with the staff being friendly, accommodating, and a delight to watch preparing breakfast. The location was excellent, near popular restaurants, cultural attractions, and Lake Michigan, but the door keys were a bit slow. The dining options were good, with on-the-spot egg-based dishes but had some challenges like waiting for a table.
